Frank Solomon’s career with Luby’s began with a simple decision that changed the course of his life. In 1995, after dropping his mother off at a nearby hospital, he spotted a “Now Hiring” sign and applied for a job as an usher. A few years later, he joined Luby’s and he’s been part of the Luby’s family ever since.

Today, Frank is one of Luby’s biggest cheerleaders. Guests recognize him from locations he managed years ago, and he still lights up when someone stops him to talk about Luby’s. But what Frank values most is the opportunity to teach and motivate others. He regularly shares his own story with team members as a reminder that where you start doesn’t determine where you can go.

Frank leads with optimism, energy, and a smile that’s hard to miss. He believes in listening to his guests, learning from his community, and creating a place where his team feels encouraged to bring their best every day.
