I’ve been in hospitality since the early ’80s and with Luby’s since 2006. I started in Houston, worked at locations all over the area, and eventually Luby’s brought me to El Paso, where I’ve been for almost 16 years.
Today, I’m proud to be “Miss Luby’s” at the courthouse. I’ve gotten to know almost everybody here, and they know if they ask for something and it’s in our power, we’ll make it happen. Some of the people we serve are going through incredibly difficult moments, so I try to put myself in their position and take care of them however we can. Sometimes that means remembering someone’s favorite pie, delivering a meal upstairs, or simply being there when they need us.
I truly love working with people. I like to see other people happy. That makes me happy too.
