Luby's Management in Training Program is a comprehensive, ten-week regional training program conducted in Houston, Dallas / Ft. Worth or San Antonio. To become eligible for consideration in the program, a candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Previous restaurant experience
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Provide proof of ability to work unrestricted in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Four-year college degree (preferred)
  • Have a current valid driver’s license
  • Have independent non-public reliable transportation
  • Ability to work without schedule restrictions
Pathway to restaurant general manager has three steps.

Step 1: Manager In Training (MIT)
Step 2: Assistant Manager
Step 3: Associate Manager
Step 4: General Manager
