Lubyʼs offers intern opportunities for serious-minded
HRM students interested in a career in the food service
industry. Our program allows an individual the prospect
of getting hands-on experience at providing our guest
with made-from-scratch meals while emphasizing a
friendly and clean environment. We are dedicated to
teaching, coaching, and developing an individualʼs
interest and passion for food service.
Internship Overview Our internship program is an eleven-week experience that concentrates seven weeks on the Back of the House and two weeks on the Front of the House. The remaining two weeks are devoted to honing skills and gaining additional knowledge in the various departments within the cafeteria. From butchering to cooking and serving to cashiering, Lubyʼs offers a full array of food service experiences. |
Eligibility 1. Open to HRM students interested in a career in the food service industry. 2. Must possess a second semester sophomore status to be considered. 3. Must complete an interview process with a Luby’s recruiter. 4. Must display a positive attitude and professional appearance. 5. Must be passionate about food and the business of serving people. |
